The valley of the Zwadderkotmolen is one of those places that happily forgotten by modern times. For many centuries the mill's favorite spot was the village youth. They came here struggling (= zwadderen) in the water of the Ooschebeek. For now everything remains as it always has been, for not only the mill itself, but also the landscape is protected. Hence the lack of proper signage, hence the soothing sensation of simple beauty.
